INTRODUCTION
SERTASPOR CREAM contains Sertaconazole, which belongs to the group of medicines called Antifungal agents. It is used to treat athlete’s foot (tinea pedis). An athlete’s foot is a condition with a fungal infection of the skin involving the feet and in-between the toes. The symptoms of fungal infection of the skin include redness, itching, irritation, swelling, blisters and scaly appearance of the skin, etc.
Your doctor may also advise you to follow personal hygiene habits such as not sharing used clothes and washing your hands before and after treating the infected area to prevent the spread of infection to other areas in the body or another person.
Do not use SERTASPOR CREAM if you have had an allergic reaction to sertaconazole. SERTASPOR CREAM should be used with caution in pregnant and breastfeeding women. SERTASPOR CREAM is not recommended for use in children less than 12 years of age.
The most common side effects of SERTASPOR CREAM include contact dermatitis, skin dryness, tenderness and burning sensation etc. Consult your doctor immediately or visit a nearby hospital if any of the symptoms worsen.

HOW SERTASPOR CREAM WORKS
SERTASPOR CREAM works by preventing fungi from developing their necessary protective coating, which is necessary for their survival. As a result, it treats the fungal infection of the skin.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Always use SERTASPOR CREAM as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. Dry the infected part of the skin before using SERTASPOR CREAM. Wash your hands before and after using this medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose, duration and frequency for you depending on the existing conditions etc.

PREGNANCY
SERTASPOR CREAM should be used with caution in pregnant women if recommended by your doctor. Inform your doctor immediately if you become pregnant or think you may be pregnant while using SERTASPOR CREAM.

SERTASPOR CREAM should be used with caution by breastfeeding mothers only if recommended by your doctor. Consult your doctor before using SERTASPOR CREAM.
ALLERGY
Do not use SERTASPOR CREAM if you are allergic to Sertaconazole.

Use in pediatrics:
SERTASPOR CREAM is recommended for use in children at and above 12 years of age only. Consult your doctor for advice.
Use in geriatrics:
SERTASPOR CREAM should be taken with caution in the elderly above 65 years of age, only if recommended by your doctor. Your doctor will decide the dose, duration of the treatment and its frequency for you depending on the severity of your existing condition and other comorbid diseases.
