INTRODUCTION
FUSIZEST H CREAM is a combination of Fusidic acid and Hydrocortisone which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics and Corticosteroids respectively. It is used to treat conditions where the skin is inflamed (eczema or dermatitis) and infected or to prevent infection by bacteria.
Eczema or dermatitis is a term for several different types of skin swelling that cause dry, itchy skin and rashes on the face, elbows, behind the knees, and on the hands and feet. Scratching the skin can cause it to swell and itch even more, and may turn red.
During course of the treatment your doctor might regularly examine your skin to avoid any untoward side effects.
Avoid smoking while using FUSIZEST H CREAM. Your doctor will prescribe the right dose for your child depending on age, body weight and severity of infection.
Before using FUSIZEST H CREAM, inform your doctor if you have skin conditions like acne rosacea, perioral dermatitis, skin conditions caused by tuberculosis or syphilis, boils, spots, cold sores, chickenpox, or athlete’s foot.
FUSIZEST H CREAM is not recommended for use in pregnant women for a long time or in large amounts. FUSIZEST H CREAM should be used with caution in breastfeeding women.
The most common side effects of using FUSIZEST H CREAM are itching, burning, or irritation. Contact your doctor if any of the side effects worsen.
