INTRODUCTION

DRENCH 0.5% EYE DROPS contains Carboxymethylcellulose, which belongs to the group of medicines called Topical ophthalmic lubricants. It is used to treat dryness of the eye due to exposure to wind or sun and following a laser or cataract eye surgery. It is also used to protect the eyes from further irritation. The symptoms may include discomfort, irritation, burning and foreign body sensation in the eye etc.

Before using DRENCH 0.5% EYE DROPS inform your doctor if you wear contact lenses as it is not recommended for use while using this medicine. The associated risks and benefits of using DRENCH 0.5% EYE DROPS in children, pregnant and breastfeeding women are unclear.

The most common side effects of DRENCH 0.5% EYE DROPS include stinging, burning, irritation or itching sensation of the eye, blurring of vision, etc. Consult your doctor immediately or visit a nearby hospital if any of the symptoms worsen.

DRENCH 0.5% EYE DROPS is used to treat allergic and inflammatory conditions of the eye such as

DRENCH 0.5% EYE DROPS works as a lubricant and moisturizer that maintains the water balance of the eye similar to natural tears. As a result, it relieves the symptoms of eye dryness.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Always use DRENCH 0.5% EYE DROPS as advised by your doctor. It is for ophthalmic use only. Instill a few drops of the medicine into the eye as advised by your doctor.

HOW TO MANAGE SIDE EFFECTS

Eye irritation:

Apply a cold compress to the affected area. A cool compress applied to your closed eyes several times a day will help lessen redness and swelling.
